ALCHEMY DANCE COMPANY aims to promote and celebrate jazz dance as a constantly evolving art form influenced by popular culture. Alchemy strongly believes in storytelling as an integral part of jazz dance and the strength of the artform in communicating the human experience. Alchemy Dance Company provides dancers with the opportunity to gain professional dance experience and refine their art form across a range of modern styles, in both performance and choreographic endeavours.
Successful auditionees will be invited to join the company for Alchemy's 2021 season. The company is an extension of a student’s regular dance training and aims to support dancers develop performance skills in a non-competitive environment. Alchemy Dance Company seeks to foster students’ pre-professional performance skills, culminating in a full length dance show choreographed by Alchemy creators and fellow industry professionals.
